It's our mission and passion to build a global community for young water talent and challenge them to establish global connections that allow them to become the world’s future water leaders.
BlueSpring Water Community is a global online water community, targeted specifically at students, junior faculty and young professionals in delta and water technology. BlueSpring offers its members a dedicated platform to advance their studies, research and career development.
Members can connect with peers around the world and have access to groups (called POOLS) to get access to relevant information about potential employers, international education programs and career opportunities, participate in discussions, connect with professionals and join exciting activities – all related to water. In addition, members can create their own groups (called PUDDLES) to focus on a specific subject or interest.
Membership registration is strictly controlled. Upon registration, a current university or professional (organisation) email address has to provided. In addition, our Community Manager moderates activites on BlueSpring to ensure content is relevant to our members and according to our policy.
Companies, universities, research institutes and professionals associations may run their own SPRINGS on BlueSpring to inform members about their activities and the opportunities they offer (internships, jobs, projects, education programs, etc.). They may host subject-specific discussions for members, make announcements, post events, upload documents, images, video, etc. One of the largest activities hosted on BlueSpring is the Holland Water Challenge, a global innovation competition on behalf of the Dutch water sector.
